I gulped down that invisible bump in my throat. I peeled back the door and the odor of the house almost made me gag. I thought about how bad this little house would look like on the way here but I never thought it would be this bad. I grabbed my bags and set them down. Grandpa was right, this place did need a lot of work. I walk into my bedroom and gasp at the horror that lay in there. I quickly decided to renovate the bedroom right away. A new bed goes a long way. I must have collapsed on the bed and drifted off into a deep sleep.
The darkness whispers in my ear and I look up. Momma is standing about 5 feet away from me. She smiles and pours some water on the plant. I watch in awe and get up, "Mommy? Can I try?" My voice feeble as I look at her. I see the love wash over her face and she hands me the watering can. I pour some water on the flowers and look up.
I wake up in a cold sweat. I barley remember what I dreamed of. I look at my clock and see that it is 6:30. I shake my head and think about why I stopped gardening. I think that maybe that dream is telling me to garden again, find the pleasure I once had. I get up and get ready for the day stopping by the kitchen. I look at the counters and give them a quick scrub.
I grab some ingredients and quickly stir up some waffles. I ate then got to work on the house. I decided to put on fresh paint and put nicer flooring in. The house is really starting to look nice. I thought about how much money I had and realized that grandpa was right. My part time job at the spa wouldn't do much. I sighed and thought about the options I had. I loved gardening, painting and playing the guitar. Now what could I do with that? I went and called a cab.
I look around then up at the theater. The woman inside greeted me and for some reason knew my name.
"Sadie! Oh I haven't seen you in ages!" I thought about who she could be. I looked at her face and noticed that little scar on her chin.
"Martha? What...? Uhh..." I was lost for words. "May I get a job? Here?" She looked me over. I saw the deep thought going on inside her brain.
"You know how to play the guitar? If you do then you have the job." Martha sighed. I told her I knew a little bit and that I was willing to learn. I got the job. I went outside and thought about going home. I was drawn to the community gardens and I thought about picking up some seeds.
When I got there I went straight to work. Bent over plucking fruit and vegetables and putting them in a bag.
I finally looked up and wiped the sweat off my brow. I saw a young handsome man sitting over on the bench watching me. I got up and wiped the dirt off my dress. I took a deep breath and walked over to him.
I saw that he was reading a Egyptian book and silently cheered! Who can't love a Egyptian guy?
I slowed down and wondered what to say. What happens if I can't understand him? I suck in a breath and take the final few steps.
"Hello, I'm Sadie. Sadie Green." I offered my hand and he took it.
"Hi there Sadie. I'm Jory Harlow." I almost melted to the sound of his voice. His accent could make any girl melt in his hands like butter. I shook off my thoughts and checked him out fully. He must have decent amounts of money because he has nice clothes.
"I heard the view in Egypt is just beautiful. I wish I could go there." I blubber.
"It's amazing. You never saw anything till you saw the Nile river." He talked on and on about Egypt and I let him. We must have talked about Egypt for hours. I really liked Jory.
"So Jory, whats your sign? I'm a Aquarius." after I said that I realized how creepy I must have sounded. I flinch and wait for him to walk away. He didn't though.
"That's crazy! I`m a Sagittarius! We are totally compatible!" He smiled and I took the chance to ask him if he was single.
"Oh. No I'm single." He looked shocked that I asked him, "Why do you ask?" I looked him in the eyes. Something took over and I started to talk.
I say very seductively, "Oh I think you know why I asked." His face lighted up and we flirted a bit. His watch started beeping and he said that he had to go. I headed home after a great day.

I'm really happy how this is turning out! woo!
